Alice Brown

Alice Brown, age 89, of Deckerville, died Thursday January 19, 2012 in Port Huron Hospital.
She was born March 28, 1922 in Marysville the daughter of the late John and Victoria Dasharion.
She was married to Edison Brown who preceded her in death on July 16, 1993.
Mrs. Brown attended the Sandusky Baptist Church. She enjoyed working, wintering in Florida and spending time with her family and watching football.
She is survived by two sons, Robert R. (Gayle) Tanton of Deckerville, Richard F. Tanton of Sterling Heights, three grandchildren, four great grandchildren, three great great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by one granddaughter Cheryl Tanton, two sisters Helen Rydel, Florence Morton, one brother John Dasharion, and one great granddaughter.
Funeral services to celebrate the life of Alice Brown will be 11:00 AM., Monday in the Apsey Funeral Home. Rev. Brian Cuddie will officiate. Burial will be in Downing Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 3:00-9:00 PM., Sunday.
Memorials may be given to Gideons International or the Sandusky Baptist Church.
