Alice M. Roth

Alice M. Roth, age 69, of Forester Township, died Sunday June 23, 2013, in Deckerville Community Hospital. She was born February 1, 1944 in Detroit, the daughter of the late Louis and Marie (Sullivan) Flanigan. She married Alan Roth on July 5, 1980 in Livonia. Alice was a member of TOPS of Sandusky. She enjoyed making stained glass lamps and windows, traveling, crossword puzzles, and bowling. She is survived by her husband, Alan of Forester Township, one son William (Margaret) Neil Jr. of Belleville, two daughters, Barbara (Mark) Wojcik of Kalkaska, Joanne Neil of Palms, two step-daughters Cheryl Dodge of Canton, and Doreen Tiza of Clinton Township, 11 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, and one sister Jerry Decraene of Ind. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Mickey Flanigan and James Flanigan and two sisters Pat Fessler and Betty Conway. Funeral services to celebrate the life of Alice M. Roth will be 1:00 PM., Wednesday in the Apsey Funeral Home, Fr. Donald Eppenbrock will officiate. Cremation will follow at May Memorial. Visitation will be 2:00-8:00 PM., Tuesday and 11:00 AM., until the time of service on Wednesday. Memorials may be given to the American Heart Assoc., or the donor's choice.
