Alma Freiburger

Alma Jean Freiburger, age 75, of Warren, died Tuesday December 20, 2011 in her home. She was born May 12, 1936 in Deckerville, the daughter of the late Trayton Sr. (Agnes Reid) Gough. She married Herbert Freiburger on Aug 18, 1956 he preceded in death in 2002. Alma Jean was a former bookkeeper at K-Mart Headquarters. She enjoyed gardening, crocheting, and going to Casinos. She is survived by three sons, Herbert P. (Sharol) Freiberger of Berkley, Timothy Freiburger and Pete Freiburger both of Warren, three grandchildren, Lisa Freiburger, Jillian Freiburger, and Laura Young, one great grandchild Avery Young, two brothers, Trayton Gough Jr., of Fla., Reed Gough of Deckerville, two sisters, Mrs. Lucy Scott of Howell and Mrs. Agnes Walnus of West Bloomfield, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by one brother John Gough and one sister Geraldine Gough. Funeral services to celebrate the life of Alma Jean Freiburger will be 11:00 AM., Friday in the Apsey Funeral Home. Rev. Robert Srock and Don Walnus will officiate. Burial will be in Downing Cemetery. Visitation will be 2-8 PM., Thursday. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the American Cancer Society.
