Alvin Tetter

Alvin E. Tetter II, age 87 of Snover, died Tuesday February 1, 2011 in the Sanilac Medical Care facility. He was born August 20, 1923 in Buffalo, NY., the son of Alvin Sr. and Bertha (Skeet) Tetter. He married Sheila Thrower on September 11, 1995 in Sandusky after the passing of his first wife Ruth. Alvin enjoyed collecting coins, putting together puzzles and puzzle books, along with fishing. He was a life long area farmer. He is survived by his wife Sheila of Snover, two sons, Alvin E. Tetter III of Snover and William Tetter of Sandusky, and four grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Funeral services to celebrate the life of Alvin E. Tetter II will be 1:00 PM., Saturday in the Apsey Funeral Home. Pastor Jeff Rolfe will officiate. Visitation will be from 10:00 AM., until the time of services on Saturday. Burial will be in Downing Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the family discretionary fund. Condolences may be sent to apseyfuneralhome.net
