Amy Lynn (Rohde) Werderman was welcomed into the arms of Jesus on the morning of August 18, 2026. She was a woman of deep faith, fierce love, contagious laughter, and unwavering devotion to her family and her Lord. Amy was blessed to share 50 loving years of marriage with her beloved husband, Nelson, who was her partner, best friend, and constant companion. Together, they built a family filled with love, faith, laughter, and countless memories. She was a devoted mother to Kelley Fehn and her spouse, Brian Fehn, and Donna Stempien and her spouse, Michael Stempien. Her children knew Amy as their greatest supporter and biggest cheerleader. She celebrated their accomplishments, encouraged them through challenges, and was always ready with the advice (whether they asked for it or not). Her wisdom, honesty, and unconditional love were gifts her family treasured. Amy was an especially cherished grandmother to Katie, Hunter, Noah, Jonah, and Norah. She delighted in each of her grandchildren and took immense pride in the people they were becoming. She cheered them on at every opportunity and filled their lives with laughter, encouragement, and love. Her influence will live on in them for generations to come. Amy will be lovingly remembered by her twin sisters, Christine Conner (Rohde) and Crystal Ponder (Rohde); her sister-in-law, Tylene Geier (Werderman); special cousins; nieces; great-nieces and great-nephews; and many dear friends and extended family members whose lives she touched. She was the person so many turned to for advice, encouragement, wisdom, and sometimes simply a good laugh. Amy was a lifelong member of the Lutheran Church and enjoyed volunteering for countless church activities and functions throughout her life. For 27 of those years, Amy devoted herself to Lutheran education, serving as both an educator and principal. She approached her calling with tremendous passion and a deep desire to make a difference in the lives of children and families. Her dedication was so inspiring that her daughter and granddaughter followed in her footsteps, continuing the legacy of Lutheran education that Amy held so dearly. She had a remarkable ability to make people feel loved, supported, and valued. Her extended family knew they could count on her, and she loved them fiercely and faithfully. Though her absence leaves an immeasurable hole in the hearts of those who loved her, Amy’s legacy lives on—in the family she cherished, in the educators she inspired, in the children she served, and in the generations who will carry her love, faith, laughter, and wisdom forward. Amy was, and always will be, dearly loved, deeply missed, and forever remembered.
