Anne Innes

Anne R. Innes, age 85, of Deckerville, died Saturday January 29, 2011 in Autumnwood of Deckerville. She was born May 24, 1925 in Detroit, the daughter of the late Peter and Rose (Depong) Gestrich. She married Colin Innes, on October 3, 1943 in Deckerville. He preceded in death on April 2, 1990. Mrs. Innes enjoyed playing the piano, planting flowers, and dancing. Her family would like to thank the staff at Autumnwood for the care given Anne over the last eight years. She is survived by two sons, Peter and Judy Innes of New Paris, PA., Colin R. and Linda Innes of Deckerville, two daughters, Mrs. Jeanne Trent of Central Lake, and Mrs. Bonnie and Harlow Elsholz of Applegate, and seven grandchildren and ten great grandchildren. Burial has taken place in the Downing Cemetery. A memorial service will take place in the spring to celebrate the life of Ann Innes. Arrangements were by the Apsey Funeral Home.
