Barbara J. Taylor

Barbara June Taylor, age 85, of Deckerville Passed away Friday March 13, 2020 She was born June 30, 1934 in Deckerville, the daughter of the late George L. and Beatrice (McVittie) Wintermute. She married Donald H. Taylor on August 4, 1951. He preceded her in death June 21, 1976. Barb worked at Deckerville Die Form for many years and at the Deckerville Citgo. Barb enjoyed baking bread, making pies and spending time with her family and grandchildren. She is survived by her children; Larry (Joyce) Taylor of Florida, Debbie Steinhaus (Dick Wheeler) of Florida, Jim (Terri) Taylor of Deckerville, Robert (Marsha) Taylor of Deckerville, and special daughters Kim Schweitzer of Palms and Becky Foster of Sandusky; Twelve Grandchildren, several Great and Great Great Grandchildren, two sisters, Wanda Davis and Virginia (Steve) Pozsgay of Deckerville, several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Donald Taylor, three sisters, Sharon Bulgrien, Beverly Schumacher, and Shirley Darabos, One Brother-in-law, Archie Davis, One Son-in-law Donald Steinhaus, and one Grandson Ronald Steinhaus. Cremation has taken place and per her request there will be no service. Arrangements were by the Apsey Funeral Home.
