Beverly Blaine

Beverly (Williamson, Sweet) Blaine passed away on May 22nd, 2026. She was born in McGregor, Michigan on Feb 26th, 1932. She married her late husband, David F. Blaine on December 18th, 1977 in Lansing, Michigan. She is survived by her son Gary J. Sweet of Deckerville, four grandchildren, Lori Turner, Douglas and Crystal Sweet, Melissa and William Brown, and Corey Sweet. Great grandchildren, Tyler Noll, Gavin Turner, Robert and Clara Sweet, Lilly and Logan Martin, Gage and Lincoln Brown, sister-in-law Jean Williamson, step grandchildren Matt, Renee, and Alex Blaine. Along with several nieces and nephews. She was proceeded in death by her late husband of thirty-three years, her son Robert E. Sweet, her daughter in laws Denise and Kathy Sweet, her parents James and Nina Bowerman, three brothers Winston, Wendell, and Robert Williamson, two sisters Lois Kriztman, Louise Nickel, one sister-in-law Lillian Williamson, and one brother-in-law Carl Nickel.

Cremation has taken place. Services will be at McGregor Church in McGregor, Michigan on June 5th, 2026, with visitation from 10:00-11:30am immediately followed by a memorial service and burial at the Downing Cemetery in Deckerville, Michigan. Pastor Jeremy VanNorman will officiate. In lieu of flowers please consider a donation to Deckerville Fire Department or Deckerville Historical Society.
