Bonnie L. Amey

Bonnie L. Amey, age 67, passed away at the end of November 2024.
She was born September 23, 1957, in Deckerville, the daughter of the late Hazen “Bud” Jr and Betty (Kritzman) Amey.
Bonnie graduated from Deckerville High School. She lived in California for a short time, then moved
back to this area where she worked at the Sanilac Career Center. She loved horses and had several over her lifetime. She also enjoyed her property with the woods in her back yard.
She is survived by her niece Ashley, her nephew Kevin and her sister-in-law Sharon of Canton and cousins in Michigan and across the United States. She was proud of Ashley who is now finishing her master’s degree and Kevin who is in the Marines.
Bonnie was preceded by her parents and her brother Greg.
A graveside service was held at Downing Cemetery on December 19, 2024. Pastor Jerry Griggs officiated.
