Brenda C. Merriman

Brenda C. Merriman, age 63, of Deckerville, passed away unexpectedly Sunday February 16, 2025, in Port Huron McLaren Hospital.
She was born on May 16, 1961, in Mt. Clemens the only daughter of the late Charles and Marilyn (Auer) Musu.
Brenda moved to Deckerville when she was sixteen and attended Deckerville Community School, graduating in 1979. Later she married Jerry Merriman. Brenda was a former employee of Proto-Craft and enjoyed planting, gardening, arts and crafts and her family.
She is survived by her husband Jerry of Deckerville; one son Charles (Jennifer Marie) Pattullo of Deckerville and one daughter Jennifer Sue Merriman of Deckerville; five grandchildren Christopher, Charles Jr., Cayleb, Colbie and Carolina; and one great grandson Jackson.
Funeral services to honor the life of Brenda C. Merriman will be 1:00 PM Friday February 21, 2025, in the Apsey Funeral Home. Pastor Henry Hales will officiate. The burial will be in the Trinity Lutheran Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 11:00 am until the time of service on Friday.
Memorials may be given to the Trinity Lutheran Church, Forestville.
