Brian L. Shagene

Brian L. Shagene, age 68, of Port Huron, died Friday February 23, 2024, in Medilodge of Ft. Gratiot.
He was born November 30, 1955, in Cass City, the son of the late Jacob S. and Beatrice E. (Pike) Shagene.
Brian grew up in the Deckerville area and attended Deckerville Community School, graduating in 1973. He attained two Associates Degrees and was a former delivery person for the Port Huron Times Herald. He was a member of New Covenant Church of God in Port Huron.
He is survived by his former wife Penny Carmichael-Shagene of Port Huron; one son Brian Herrick and two daughters, Kim Randall and Ruth Ann Herrrick; one brother John Shagene and several nieces and nephews.
Brian was preceded in death by three brothers, Arnold, Gordon, and Robert and one sister Pauline Walker.
Funeral services to celebrate the life of Brian L. Shagene will be held at 1:00 PM Friday March 1, 2024, in the Apsey Funeral Home. Burial will be in Downing Cemetery, Pastors Ronald Jacobs and James Jordan Jr, will officiate.
Memorial donations maybe given to New Covenant Church of God, Port Huron.
