Bruce A. Schenck

Bruce A. Schenck, age 89, of Forester Township, passed away Sunday October 30, 2022, in his home. He was born April 6, 1933, the son of the late Armond and Lucile (Hager) Schenck. He grew up in Roseville, MI and attended Eastland High School graduating in 1951. He was then drafted into the Korean War and served in the US Army. On May 6, 1961, he married Miss. Constance McNames in Croswell. She preceded him in death on March 30, 2014. After the death of his father, Bruce took over Armond's Garage on Lakeshore Road from 1969 to 2000. He enjoyed gardening, working on steam engines and model trains. He was a member of the Forester United Methodist Church. Mr. Schenck is survived by his son Michael Schenck of Forester Township; two daughters, Denise Schenck of Port Huron, and Michelle Baumstark of Croswell; four grandchildren, eight great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren; one brother Lawrence Schenck of AZ and 5 nieces and nephews. A memorial service will take place in the Forester United Methodist Church on Saturday November 19, 2022 at 11:00 AM. Rev. Anika Bailey will officiate. Burial will be in Forester Cemetery.
