On January 15th, 2023, Carl Edward Cole, loving husband, brother, Uncle, stepfather, and Papa passed away at the age of 73.
Carl was born in Deckerville, Michigan on February 20, 1949, to the late Ethel (Halifax) and Hubert Cole and was a lifelong resident. Carl graduated from Deckerville High School and pursued a career as the Owner Operator of King Cole Trucking. He raised hay during the summer and trucked it to Florida in the winter and would return with Produce. He also had a great passion for Classic Cars, especially those of Chevrolet in nature, in which he had many. He had several great friendships that resulted from that passion.
Carl is survived by his wife Patricia, his furever companion Ginger(Honey); Brothers Charles Cole of Waterford, Ronald (Abby) Cole of Bay City, and sister Mary (Peter) Buccos of Marysville; Brothers and Sisters in Law, Florence Thompson of Romeo, Diane Howell of Grand Blanc, James (Rhonda) Howell of Armada, John (Vicky) Howell of Lake Wales FL, Susan Johnson of Attica, Russell (Sandy) Howell of Romeo, Emily (John) Izzo of Commerce Twp., Christopher (Tina) Howell of Royal Oak. Niece, Melanie (Dana) Goble of Clarkston, Nephew, Rodney Cole of Clarkston. Stepchildren Emily (Ryan) Puzan of Deckerville, Nicholas (Sarah) Foote of Shelby Twp., Denise (Virl) Strong of Carsonville/Naples FL, Charles Mayle of Carsonville, Dan (Dianne) Mayle of Carsonville. Great Neice Olivia Cole of California, Great Nephew Cole Goble of Clarkston. Grandchildren Daniel, Mercedes, Ezekiel, and Zephan Foote. Joseph, Roman, Liam and Oliver Puzan. Nicky (Jared) VanWagner, Ryan (Jenny) Mayle, Tristian Rickett, D.J. Mayle, Joseph and Bradley Mayle. Several Great Grandchildren, and extended family.
Carl is preceded in death by his parents, previous partner June V. Mayle. Brothers in law, Charles Howell Jr., Maurice Thompson, niece, Tracy Richards, and step grandson Mylez Bowling.
Funeral services will be in the Apsey Funeral Home Deckerville Michigan on Friday January 20th 2023 at 11:00 am. Burial will be in Washington Township Cemetery.
Visitation Thursday January 19th 2023, from 3:00pm to 8:00pm and Friday January 20th, 2023 10:00am to 11:00am.
