Carl L. Hoffman

Carl L. Hoffman, age 85, of Snover, passed away Friday, January 31, 2019 in Select Specialty Care Hospital, Saginaw. He was born March 6, 1933 in Detroit, the son of the late Charles and Mae (Wright) Hoffman. He grew up in the St. Clair Shores and Mount Clemens area. He graduated from Mt. Clemens High School. On April 30, 1955 he married Miss. Wanda McDaniel in Mt. Clemens. At the time he was active duty in the US Army, until his discharge in 1957. Carl was a former employee of Trelleborg in Sandusky, and Harvard Industries in Snover. He is survived by his wife Wanda of Snover; three sons, Wendell Hoffman also of Snover, Mark (Debra) Hoffman of Plainville, and Glen (Eleanor) Hoffman of GA; 12 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren; also, several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by one brother and three sisters. A memorial service to honor the life of Carl L. Hoffman will be held in the summer. Memorials may be given to the family discretionary fund.
