Charlene Helen Karales

Charlene Helen Karales, 89, of Casco, passed away Friday, October 2, 2026. Charlene was born July 8, 1937 in Detroit, Michigan. Charlene is preceded in death by her husband George Karales. She is survived by her children, Denice (Brett) Clark, Doreen Karales (Ryan Kimball-fiancee’), Daniel (Kim) Karales, and David (Tracey) Karales, grandchildren, Lynn (Daryl) O’Connell, Christina (Alex) Snyder, Matthew Clark, Nicholas Belleville, Hunter and Kanon Gracey, Kyle and Devin Strzelecki, Will Kimball, great grandchildren, Eva and Luca Snyder and Dylan O’Connell. Charlene was a devout Christian and a long-time parishioner at St. Augustine Catholic Church. She was an avid volunteer for her church, Meals on Wheels, and many other compassionate endeavors that sought to help others. She enjoyed spending time with her family, gardening, reading books and bowling.

A Memorial Mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. with a visitation from 10:00 a.m. until the time of Service on Saturday, October 17, 2026 at St. Augustine Catholic Church, 68035 Main St., Richmond, MI 48062.
