Charles Bond

Charles R. Bond, age 50, of Applegate, died unexpectedly Saturday November 14, 2009 at his home. He was born August 1, 1959 in Detroit, the son of the late Robert and Evelyn (Knaster) Bond. He married E. Marie Grodecour on March 20, 1991 in Texas. Charles was employed by Jay & Kay Manufacturing in Croswell. He was involved with the Angel Food Ministry of the Applegate Wesleyan Church. He is survived by his wife Marie of Applegate, one son Andrew Grodecour of Warren and two grandchildren, Trisha and Nathan Grodecour, three brothers, Greg Bond of Benton Harbor, Nick Bond of Houghton Lake, and William Bond of Allenton, two sisters, Diane Figone of Beatrice, NE., and Bobbie Williams of Centerline, also several nieces and nephews. Funeral services to celebrate the life of Charles R. Bond will be 11:00 AM., Wednesday in the Apsey Funeral Home, your ?Legacy of Life? funeral home. Pastor David Ford will officiate. Cremation will be at Sunset Valley Crematory, Bay City. Visitation will be 4-6 & 7-9 Tuesday in the funeral home. Memorials may be given to the Family Discretionary Fund.
