Charlotte M. Redman

Charlotte Redman, age 88, of Deckerville, passed away Sunday October 6, 2019 in Autumnwood of Deckerville. She was born November 23, 1930 in Deckerville, the Daughter of the late Fred and Caroline (Kenny) Jones. She grew up in Deckerville and attended school at Deckerville High School, graduating in 1948. On December 28, 1953 she married Daniel Redman in Detroit. Daniel preceeded Charlotte in death on October 26, 2017. Charlotte was a member of the Deckerville Lioness' Club and retired from Backus Oil. She enjoyed knitting, crochet and cake decorating. She is survived by one Son Brian (Stephanie) of TX; two daughters, Diane Russell of Ubly and Carolynn (Mike) Kappel of Deckerville; eight grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren. Charlotte is also preceded in death by son Daniel Redman, November 1 1992; brothers Jim Jones, Fred Jones, George Jones, Frank Jones and Sisters Pearl (Jones) Parrott, Grace Jones, Margaret (Jones) Charbenau. A memorial service to be held on Saturday, October 26, 2019 at 1:00 in the Apsey Funeral Home. Visitation hours will be from 11:00 to 1:00 on the same day. Cremation has taken place at May Memorial, Port Huron. The family suggests memorials to Hartland Hospice.
