Clarence A. Russell

Fort Gratiot-Clarence A. Russell, 89, went home to be with the Lord on July 11, 2015. Clarence was born on April 26, 1926 to George and Amelia Russell in Palms, Michigan. Mr. Russell was the owner of the former Russell's Music Store in Deckerville, Michigan. He was a music teacher and avid sportsman. Mr. Russell is survived by his wife, Marilyn Russell; two sons and daughter-in-law, Gary and Marg Russell and Mr. Craig Russell; one daughter and son-in-law, Stan and Barb (Russell) Zimmerman; four grandchildren and seven great grandchildren; two sisters, Virginia Carmen and Eleanor Parker; and one uncle, Charles Warczinsky. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Martha, and his sister, Sara Mae McCoy. Services will be held at Apsey Funeral Home in Deckerville on Thursday at 11:00am with visitation preceding at 10:00am.
