Dale E. Wagester

Dale E. Wagester, age 79, of Deckerville, passed away Saturday January 17, 2015 in McLaren Port Huron Hospital. He was born March 27, 1935 in Marion Township, the son of the late Edmund and Lillian (Emerick) Wagester. He married Miss. Joanne Cameron on June 11, 1959 in Deckerville. Dale was a former employee of Consumers Power, a member of East Marion Baptist Church. He enjoyed, along with his family, hunting, woodcrafts and cutting the grass on his lawn mower. He is survived by his wife Joanne Wagester of Deckerville, three daughters, Betty (Mike) Vermeersch of Croswell, Pamela (Don) Janisch of Lexington, and Lisa Mispelon (Chuck Adams) of Croswell, nine grandchildren and eight great grandchildren, one brother Dennis (Kathie) Wagester of Grand Blanc, one sister-in-law Rosie Wagester of Deckerville and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by one brother George Wagester. Funeral services to honor the life of Dale E. Wagester will be 11:00 AM., Tuesday in the Apsey Funeral Home. Pastor David Frost will officiate. Burial will be in Downing Cemetery. Visitation will be 2:00-9:00 PM., Monday. Memorials may be made to East Marion Baptist Church or the Family Discretionary Fund.
