Daniel L. Lago

Daniel L. Lago, age 73, of Carsonville, passed away on Tuesday June 20, 2023, in Orlando, Florida after a long battle with dementia. He was born February 3, 1950, in Fremont, MI the son of the late Louis and Ora (Dawson) Lago. He married Ms. Charlene Warren on June 3, 1982, in Orlando, FL. He graduated from Deckerville Community School in 1969, then joined the US Army that same year. He later worked for UPS as a truck driver until his retirement. Dan is survived by his wife Charlene and two sons: Daniel Lago II of FL, and James (Bonnie) Watkin of TX: three daughters, Monica (Mark) Dudley of Canada, Victoria Streets of FL, and Tabitha (James) Van Amburg of FL. Nine grandchildren and two great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded by his brother Glen on July 4, 2015. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am Saturday September 30, 2023 in the Mc Gregor Church. Rev. Jerry Griggs will officiate.
