Daniel Byron Williamson, age 52 of Lapeer, formerly of Deckerville, passed away Wednesday, November 28, 2012 at Covenant Medical Center of Saginaw. He was born on January 9, 1960 in Deckerville to Garth and Jackie (Lawler) Williamson. Dan and Cynthia Morse were united in marriage on August 7, 1999. Dan was a farmer for all of his life. He enjoyed farming, fishing, his boat, and sports, especially Football and Baseball. He is survived by his wife Cynthia Williamson of Deckerville, his sons: Joshua Williamson of Albuquerque, New Mexico, and Jason Williamson of Las Vegas, Nevada, step-children: Brandon and Star Severt, Justin Stankiewicz, parents Garth & Jackie Williamson, sisters: Lynnette (John) Tanton of Deckerville, Cheryl (Pat) Lindke of Deckerville, and brother Doug (Betty) Williamson of Sandusky, his mother-in-law Ann Morse, nieces and nephews: Kristin (Tommy) Bezemek, Travis (Jessica) Tanton, Timmy Tanton, Laci (Bill) Fisher, Justin (Nicole) Lindke, 2 great nephews: Liam Fisher and Oliver Bezemek, brothers-in-law: Ron (Kitty) Morse, Doug (Debbie) Morse, and several Aunts, Uncles, & Cousins. He was preceded in death by a daughter Jennifer Williamson, and father-in-law Andrew Morse. Funeral Services for Dan will be Saturday, December 1, 2012 at 11 am at St. John Lutheran Church of Palms, with Rev. Henry Hales officiating. Burial will be in Washington Township Cemetery. Visitation for Dan will be Friday, November 30, from 2-8pm in the Apsey Funeral Home of Deckerville. Visitation on Saturday will be in the church beginning at 10 am until time of services at 11 am. Memorials may be given to the Family Discretionary Fund.
