David Allen Pohl, 80, of Palms, MI, passed away Tuesday, February 17, 2026. David was born on May 3, 1945 in Deckerville, MI to the late Edward and Esther Pohl. David went to Snay School for three years and then to Deckerville Community Schools where David graduated in 1963. David married Janet Kay Hooper in 1966 and together they raised a daughter, Kimberly Neumayer (Douglas). Janet passed away in 1998. David then married Grace (Klebba) Zurek in 2001 at St. Johns Church in Ubly, MI. David was a proud farmer, working on the family farm his entire life, first with his father, Edward, and then with two of his brothers, Lenny and Richard (George), running the Pohl Brothers Farm. David loved the land and the animals the farm had. He took great pride in every and all of the farming activities he did. If you asked David what he wanted out of life his reply was, “Just love each other!" David is survived by his wife, Grace; daughters, Kimberly Neumayer (Douglas), Michelle Heleski (Lenny), Mande Franzel (Tim) and Kristie Shanley (Patrick); grandchildren, Douglas Neumayer Jr., (Stephanie), Derek Neumayer (Monica), Channing Langenburg (Jenny Parker), Hunter Hartel (Dekota), Jaiden Langenburg, Raiden Bishop, Peyton Shanley, Zachary Franzel, Tyler Franzel, Josiah Shanley and Zavier Shanley; great-grandchildren, Jack Neumayer, Vivienne Neumayer, Charlotte Hartel, Brooks Hartel, Maves Hartel, Parker Neumayer and Greyson Neumayer; his siblings, Ron (Kathy) Pohl, Ken (Barbara) Pohl, Sue DeLong, Terry (Barb) Pohl, Debbie Pohl, Jenny (Dave) Corteville, Jackie (Doug) Salowitz, Richard - George (Mary) Pohl and Jill (Pete) Creguer; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; his brother, Lenny, sister-in-law, Rose; and great-niece, Breanna Lundgren.

A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. with a visitation from 10:00 a.m. until the time of Service on Monday, February 23, 2026 at Trinity Lutheran Church, Forestville, MI, with Pastor Henry Hales officiating.

Memorials may be made to Trinity Lutheran Church Improvement Fund, Cemetery Fund or Landscaping Fund.
