Dorothy Partello

Dorothy M. Partello, age 83 of Portage, formerly of Deckerville, died Sunday, July 6, 2008 in Bronson Methodist Hospital. She was born October 19, 1924 in Deckerville, the daughter of Leonard and Bertha (Pearson) Valdick. Ms. Partello enjoyed playing Bingo, watching Game Shows, and crocheting. She is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Donna (Donald) Waltz of Portage, Mrs. Bonnie (Lonnie) Reeves of Kalamazoo, and Mrs. Darlene (Jim) Cumper of Marlette, one sister Mrs. Donna Fleming of Kimball Township, eleven grandchildren, thirty three great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild. She was preceded in death by one son Dale C. Rock on April 17, 1999, also one brother James Partello, and one sister Mrs. Carol Faloon. Services to celebrate the life of Dorothy M. Partello will be 2:00 PM., Thursday in the Apsey Funeral Home, Deckerville, your ?Legacy of Life? funeral home. Elder Martha Rosbury will officiate. Burial will be in Downing Cemetery. Visitation will be from noon until the time of service on Thursday. Memorials may be given to the American Cancer Society, or the American Heart Association.
