Dorothy A. Ross

Dorothy A. Ross, age 79, of Deckerville, passed away Monday October 23, 2017 in Autumnwood of Deckerville. She was born December 1, 1937 in Marlette, the daughter of the late Norman and Lola (Johnson) Holst. Dorothy A. Holst married Merle E. Ross on August 27, 1955. Together they raised two children; Merlann (Jerry) Keinath; and Tim (Peggy) Ross, both of Deckerville, along with nine grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren. Dorothy enjoyed doing needlework and reading, but her real enjoyment was watching her grandchildren's ball games. A Funeral service to celebrate the life of Dorothy A. Ross will be held at 11:00 AM., Wednesday in Peace Lutheran Church, Sandusky. Pastor Richard Tino will officiate. Burial will be in Downing Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10:00 AM., until the time of service at the church. Memorials may be given to the Goodtimers or Downing Cemetery.
