Douglas E. Dawson

Douglas E. Dawson, age 44, of Taylor, formerly of Deckerville, passed away Sunday July 20, 2014 in his home. He was born December 8, 1969 in Detroit, the son of the late Thomas and Evelyn (Tolbert) Dawson. Doug worked as a Service Rep. Manager for the Sears Corp. He enjoyed boating and being with his sisters and his nieces and nephews. He is survived by two sisters, Ms. Kristina Dedrich of Grand Blanc, and Laura Glashauser of Canton, one nephew Andrew Glashauser, three nieces Raychael McDade, Lexi Dedrick, and Lauren Dedrick, one great niece Ella McDade and one great nephew Liam McDade. A funeral service to celebrate the life of Douglas E. Dawson will be 1:00 PM., Sunday July 27, 2014 in the Apsey Funeral Home. Rev. Mark Garavaglia will officiate. Burial will be in Downing Cemetery. Visitation will be from noon until the time of service on Sunday. Memorials may be given to the Family Discretionary Fund.
