Doyle L. Nichol

Doyle L. Nichol, age 61, of Charlotte, NC., formerly of Deckerville, passed away on March 18, 2014 in Charlotte. He was born October 29, 1952 in Sandusky, the son of Mary (Moore) Nichol and the late James L. Nichol. Doyle was a member of the James K. Polk Masonic Lodge, the Charlotte Chamber of Commerce, and owned and operated Savannah Image Ware. He is survived by his daughter Jensen Nichol of NC., his mother Mrs. Mary Nichol of Deckerville, special friend Dolores Galanti of NC., one brother Robert of NC., two sisters, Ms. Bernice (Wm.) Zerbst of Livonia, Mrs. Susanne (Michael) Fox of Caro, and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, James L. Nichol and one sister Diane McDavid. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM., Sunday in the Apsey Funeral Home. Rev. Jerry Griggs will officiate. Burial will be in Downing Cemetery. Visitation will be 3:00-8:00 PM., Saturday and from noon until the time of services on Sunday. Memorials may be made to the Family Discretionary Fund in the name of Jensen Nichol.
