Elizabeth Dichtel

Elizabeth E. Dichtel, 91 of Casco Township died Monday, September 1, 2008 in Mt. Clemens Regional Medical Center after a brief illness. She was born July 8, 1917 in Mt. Clemens to the late Henry and Emilie ( Stern) Rehberg. She married Andrew Dichtel in Detroit on September 14, 1940. Mr. Dichtel died January 2, 2002. Mrs. Dichtel was a member of St. Augustine Catholic Church, Richmond and enjoyed her flower gardens, cooking and mostly spending time with her family. She is survived by her children; Richard (Sandra) Dichtel of Shelby Township, Gerald (Catherine) Dichtel of Clinton Township, Kenneth Dichtel of Casco, and Janice (Ross) Milodrowski of Macomb Township, grandchildren; Lisa (Imil) Assaf, Randy and Scott Dichtel, Robin (Paul) Schulz, and Kirsten Milodrowski, great-grandchildren; Emma, Jack, Jennifer, and Carolyn, sisters-in-law Rita Carvell of Shelby Township and Anna Mae (Max) Brocker of Roseville, and soon to be great-grandson Aidan Assaf. She was preceded in death by her husband Andrew, brother Herbert Rehberg and sister Edna Hennessee. A funeral mass will be said Friday, September 5, 2008 at 10:00 am in St. Augustine Catholic Church, Richmond. Fr. Joseph Plawecki will officiate. Burial will be in St. Michael Cemetery, Richmond. Visitation will be Thursday from 3 to 9 pm in Rewalt Funeral Home, Richmond and Friday from 9:30 to 10 in the church. A scripture service will be said Thursday at 7:00 pm in the funeral home. Memorial donations may be directed to the St. Augustine Building Fund or Hospice of Michigan.
