Evelyn Brinker

Evelyn M. Brinker, age 82, of Sandusky, died Thursday December 25, 2008 in the Sanilac Medical Care Facility. She was born August 26, 1926 in Carsonville the daughter of the late Harry and Leona (Schommer) Willis. She married Rex E. Brinker on October 6, 1945 in Port Huron. He preceded her in death January 9, 2008. Mrs. Brinker enjoyed her family and working cross word puzzles. She is survived by two sons, Roger (Judy) Brinker of Lexington, and Barry (Susan) Brinker of Deckerville, ten grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren, and 2 great great grandchildren. Also, three brothers, Harry Willis, Jack Willis, and William Willis all of Port Sanilac, one sister Mrs. Jamie Hodges of Carsonville and several nieces and nephews and sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Karen and Harry McCoy of Lakeport. She was preceded in death by one son Kevin, and two brothers, Ken Willis and Robert Willis. Memorial services for Mrs. Evelyn M. Brinker will be 2:00 PM., Sunday January 4, 2009 in the Apsey Funeral Home, your ?Legacy of Life? funeral home. Mr. James Beattie will officiate. Cremation had taken place at Sunset Valley Crematory Visitation will be from 1:00 PM., until the time of service on Sunday.
