Florinda

Florinda (Flo) Castillo, age 66, of Deckerville, died Sunday September 25, 2011 in Autumnwood of Deckerville. She was born April 12, 1945 in Crystal City, TX., the daughter of the late Simon and Nevies (Garcia) Gonzales. She married Crispin Castillo on February 1, 1979 in Bexar, TX. He preceded in death on November 24, 2004. Mrs. Castillo enjoyed decorating cakes, crocheting, sewing, and arts and crafts. She attended the McGregor Methodist Church. She is survived by four sons, Juan (Adrianna) Castillo of TX., David (Jessica) Castillo of Deckerville, Marcos of St. Louis, Carlos (Ashley) of Deckerville, and one daughter Annette (Jeremy) Bishop of Snover, seven grandchildren, David M. Castillo, Austin Bishop, Tyler Schmidt, Elisia Bishop, Desiree Castillo, Kaleb Castillo, and Alexis Castillo, one brother Simon Gonzales of TX., two sisters, Ms. Remona Gonzalez of WI., and Ms. Margaret Smith of OK. She was preceded in death by on sister Ms. Chyo Gonzales on May 12, 2010. A memorial service to celebrate the life of Folrinda (Flo) Castillo will be Sunday October 9, 2011 at 2:00 PM., in the Apsey Funeral Home. Rev. Ellen Schippert will officiate. Visitation will from 1:00 PM., until the time of service. Cremation has taken place at Sunset Valley Crematory. Memorials may be given to the family discretionary fund.
