Frank Lakatos

Frank Lakatos, age 72, of Lompoc, CA., formerly of Deckerville, MI. died Wednesday July 6, 2011 in the New Lodge of Lompoc. Frank was born August 5, 1938 in Dowell, Il., the son of the late Joseph and Julia (Reves) Lakatos. He was a 1956 graduate of Deckerville Community Schools. He graduated from Central Michigan University with a Bachelor of Science degree. He taught for two years at Kent County High School, then went to University of Toledo where he got his Masters degree in High School Counseling. After graduation he applied for a counselors position in Lompoc where he has lived for the past 49 years. Mr Lakatos is survived by one brother, William Lakatos of Deckerville, one nephew Jeff Lakatos, two nieces Mrs. Cindy Migan and Ms. Becky Lakatos. He was preceded in death by his parents, one sister Julia Lakatos and one brother Joseph Lakatos.
