Frank LoPiccolo

It is with great sadness that the family of Frank LoPiccolo announces his passing on Wednesday, October 7, 2026, at the age of 89. Frank will be remembered by his loving wife, JoAnne of 66 years, children, Mary (Michael) Rice, Dorothy (Pete) Sochowicz, Sam (Kelly) LoPiccolo; grandchildren Stephanie (Michael) Pachla, Anthony Sochowicz, Meghan (Anthony) Turner, Dennis Rice, Elizabeth and the late Frankie LoPiccolo; great granddaughters Violet, Hazel, Blair, Charlie (CJ), and Morgan. Frank was born in Terrasini, Sicily and came to the United States with his family at the age of 10. He recounted his experiences many times. He was a good provider, working when he was young to help to support his immigrant family and later raising his own. He loved spending time with his family (Don’t be late or leave too early!). Nothing made him happier than family dinners and playing cards while drinking a good cup of coffee. The simple pleasures of life always put a smile on his face such as being outdoors, camping, fishing and gardening. We cannot forget the many picnics at Stony Creek which usually included great food and a good game of bocce ball.

The family would like to thank the staff at the Meadows of Mt. Clemens for their loving care.

A funeral mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. with a visitation from 10:00 a.m. until the time of Mass on Monday, October 12, 2026, at St. Augustine Catholic Church 68035 Main Street, Richmond, Michigan 48062.
