Harold Cowan

Harold E. Cowan, age 88, of Deckerville, died Monday June 18, 2012 in Monroe, NC. He was born February 28, 1924 in Deckerville, the son of the late Franklin E. and Amelia (Willoughby) Cowan. He married Miss. Mabel McLean on February 28, 1962 in Deckerville. She preceded him in death on September 28, 2007 He is survived by his daughter Mrs. Maureen Turner of Monroe, N.C., two granddaughters, Melanie and Megan Turner. He was preceded in death by one brother, Edward Cowan, and one sister Ms. Mabel Ann Cowan Sutake. Funeral Services to celebrate the life of Harold E. Cowan will be 2:00 PM., Saturday in the Apsey Funeral Home, Pastor Jeff Noble will officiate. Burial will be in Forester Cemetery. Memorials may be given to Hospice House of Union County.
