Hugh Choate

H. Hugh Choate, age 87, of Playa del Rey, CA., died Monday October 24, 2011 in Marina del Rey Hospital. He was born June 28, 1924 in Beaumont, Tx. He married Miss. Dorothy (Dotty) Wagner on December 31, 1953 in San Diego. She preceded him in death on August 20, 2008. Mr. Choate was a school psychologist at South Bay Union High School for many years. A member of the University of Southern California alumni and an avid fan. He was also a veteran of the US Military. Hugh is survived by one brother-in-law Donald Wagner of Fla., one sister-in-law Mrs. Mary Jane Smith of Yale, and one nephew and three nieces. Graveside services were held 11:00 am., Monday October 31, 2011 at Port Sanilac Cemetery. Port Sanilac, MI. Hugh was laid to rest next to his beloved wife Dotty.
