Hugh Lefler

Hugh D. Lefler, age 67, of Clearwater, Fla., formerly of Deckerville, died Tuesday January 29, 2008 in his home after a long battle with cancer. He was born February 2, 1940 in Harbor Beach, the son of the late Roland and Ethel (Head) Lefler. He owned and operated Lefler Ford in Deckerville, taking over after the death of his father. He sold the dealer ship in the early 70?s and worked as a Process Server for an Insurance Company for many years until moving to Florida in 2002. Hugh is survived by his wife Carole. Two sons, Eric Fiedler of Deckerville, James Fiedler of KA., serving in the US Army in Kuwait, and one daughter Kristine (Kelly) Tippie of Port Huron. Also, ten grandchildren and four great grandchildren. No services are scheduled at this time. Burial of the cremains will be in Forester Cemetery in the Spring.
