Ila Salowitz

Ila Rosamond (Mosure) Salowitz Age 83. Passed away August 28, 2010 at St. Joseph Mercy Hospital in Port Huron, MI. Ila was born September 8, 1926 in Deckerville, MI to the late Edwin & Rosella (Reid) Mosure. Ila was predeceased by her husband Crescent. Ila & Crescent were married January 31, 1948 at St. Patrick?s Catholic Church in Palms, MI. Crescent passed away September 11, 2001.She enjoyed working at the Deckerville Elementary School as a secretary for 30 years and a volunteer for 10 years. She also loved spending time with her family. Ila is survived by her loving children Wayne (Sharon), Marlene (Emil) Abend, & Dale ?Ed? (Debbie). Proud grandmother of Michael, Brian, Renae, Randy, Keith, Angela, Mallory, Scott, Kyle, & Jenna. Great grandmother of Emma, Brandon, & Hailey. Dearest sister of Jennie Chase & the late Gerald Mosure, Forest Mosure, Harry Mosure, & Lila Pritchard. Survived by sister in laws Helen Elder & Helen Mosure. Visitation will be Tuesday 2-9pm at Apsey Funeral Home in Deckerville. Funeral services will be Wednesday at St. Patrick?s Catholic Church in Palms, MI at 11am with additional visitation at the church from 9am until the time of service. Burial will be at Downing Cemetery in Deckerville.
