Ileene Merriman

Ileene B. Merriman, age 80, of Deckerville died Friday January 30, 2009 in her home. She was born December 25, 1928 in Elk Township, the daughter of the late Frederick and Lila (McElhinney) Quandt. She married Willis Merriman in 1946. Mrs. Merriman enjoyed working on the farm with her husband until they retired several years ago. She is survived by her husband, Willis of Deckerville, one son Randy (Dora) Merriman of Deckerville and one daughter Ms. Roxanne Merriman of TX., four grandchildren and several great grandchildren, and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by one granddaughter Natalie Merriman January 9, 2001. Funeral services to celebrate the life of Ileene B. Merriman will be 11:00 AM., Thursday in the Apsey Funeral Home, your â??Legacy of Lifeâ?? funeral home. Pastor Chris Wolf will officiate. Burial will be in Watertown Township Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4:00 to 9:00 PM., on Wednesday and from 10:00 AM., until the time of services on Thursday. Memorials may be given to the Natalie Merriman Scholarship Fund.
