Jack Arnold

Jack H. Arnold, age 86, of Deckerville, died Wednesday October 1, 2008 in Autumnwood of Deckerville. He was born July 30, 1922 in Port Sanilac, the son of the late Howard and Bessie (Eddy) Arnold. He married Evelyn DeLong on October 17, 1945 in Deckerville. She preceded in death on January 4, 2002. Jack was an avid hunter and a member of the Sanilac Sportsmen?s Club. He was a noted Coon hunter in Sanilac County. Jack is survived by two sons, Rev. John and Cathy Arnold of Port Huron, Paul and Jane Arnold of Deckerville, and one daughter Shelia and Darrel Rich of Afton, also ten grandchildren and sixteen great grand children, and one sister-in-law, Mrs. Bernice Waun of Deckerville. Funeral services to celebrate the life of Jack H. Arnold will be 1:00 PM. Saturday October 4, 2008 in the Apsey Funeral Home, your ?Legacy of Life? funeral home. Pastor Paul Slivka and Rev. John Arnold will officiate. Burial will be in the Downing Cemetery. Visitation will be 2-8 PM. Friday. Memorials may be given to United Hospice or Sanilac Sportsmen?s Club.
