James Arthur Brewer, 73, of Columbus, passed away on Sunday, March 29, 2026. James was born on September 11, 1952 in Bakersfield California. James is survived by his wife, Debra Brewer, daughter, Shila (Jay) Silverson, grandchildren, Kayla Brewer, Alexander and Brooke Silverson, great grandchildren, Madilyn and Scarlett, siblings, Dale Brewer, Robin Brady and Adrien Cote, and several nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, Armand and Jeannine Cote, and sister, Julie Cote. James enjoyed camping, fishing, canoeing and took meticulous care of his lawn.
