James D. Kenny

James D. Kenny, age 61, of Snover, passed away Thursday July 4, 2019 in his home. He was born May 6, 1958 in Deckerville, the son of the late Donald and Betty (Bracken) Kenny Jim attended Deckerville Community School and graduated in 1976. He worked for the Sandusky Public School system as a bus mechanic for 30 years. Jim enjoyed collecting guns, hunting, fishing, trapping and riding his Harley. Jim is survived by one son Jason Kenny of Saginaw; four grandchildren; two brothers, Larry Kenney of Deckerville and Dale Kenny of Almont; one sister Ms. Cheryl Kenny of Deckerville; two uncles, Jerry (Lois) Bracken of Marlette, Dick (Nami) Kenny of Fraser; two aunts, Vivian DeBono of Clinton Township and Pat Bracken of Sandusky; and many cousins. He was preceded in death by one brother Gary Kenny and one sister Gayle Kenny. Funeral services to honor the life of James D. Kenny will be 1:00 PM., Wednesday in the Apsey Funeral Home. Burial will be in Downing Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday 2-8:00 PM and 11:00 AM-1:00 PM Wednesday Memorials may be given to the family discretionary fund.
