James Michael Terbrack,  age 62 of Deckerville, a cherished family man, respected agronomist, and lover of the great outdoors, passed away peacefully due to natural causes on June 22, 2025, in McLaren Hospital Port Huron, MI. Born on February 10, 1963, in Harbor Beach, MI, James lived a full and vibrant life dedicated to his family, his work, and his passion for nature.

James, known affectionately as Jim by those who knew him best, graduated from Ubly High School in 1981 and went on to further his education as an Agronomist. His academic pursuits laid the groundwork for a successful career as an agronomist, where he served the farming communities of Huron and Sanilac Counties with dedication and expertise at the Co-Op Elevator in Ruth since 1981.

James's love for his family was evident to all who had the pleasure of knowing him. He is survived by his loving wife, Tina (Bouvrette) Terbrack, who he married on August 24, 1985, at St’s Peter and Paul Church in Ruth, MI, and their five children: Kevin (Michelle) Terbrack, Adam (Christina) Terbrack, Erin (Casper) Terbrack, Morgan Terbrack, and Olivia Terbrack. His legacy continues through his six grandchildren: Avery, Joey, Ben, Noah, Antonio, and Will, who will miss their grandfather's warmth and wisdom. James is also survived by his brother, Richard (Sue) Terbrack, and sisters, Jean (Joe) Matesic, Maryann Ruttenbur, and Sandy (Dave) Irby, as well as several adoring nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by his father, Joseph F. Terbrack, and mother, Darlene M. Bellor, James now joins them in eternal rest, leaving behind a legacy of love and memories that will be cherished by all who knew him.

James's affinity for the outdoors was more than a hobby; it was a way of life. His gardens were a testament to his patience and skill, while his hunting, fishing, and trapping adventures reflected his respect for nature and his joy in being part of the natural world. These interests not only provided him with tranquility and fulfillment but also created countless cherished memories with family and friends.

James's impact on his community and the agricultural industry was significant. His commitment to sustainable farming practices and his willingness to share his extensive knowledge made him a valued colleague and a treasured mentor to many.
