John Gerard Flieger

John Gerard Flieger, age 76, of Memphis died Monday, February 13, 2012 in Medilodge of Richmond. He was born January 19, 1936 in the Netherlands to the late Francis and Gertrude (Dehaard) Flieger. John served his country in the Army National Guard. He worked as a carpenter for the Carpenters Local 114 and Local 687. He was an avid football fan and enjoyed trying his luck at the casinos. John is survived by his son, John F. of Roseville; three grandchildren, John E Flieger, Tanya (Scott) MacKenzie and Holly Elmore; five great-grandchildren; four sisters, Lucy Burke, Rita Orlando, Johanna Geimmer and Trish Lalka; a brother, Gerard Flieger and several nieces and nephews. Cremation arrangements were made by Rewalt Funeral Home, Richmond.
