John Matthew Flood Jr.

John M. Flood Jr., age 59, of Deckerville, died Tuesday February 24, 2026, in Corewell Health Hospital, Grand Rapids. He was born on May 23, 1966, in Baton Rouge, LA, the son of John M. Flood Sr and the late Barbra (Lyman) Flood. John grew up in Baton Rouge and attend an all-boys Catholic School graduating in 1985. On June 8, 2001, he married Miss Lisa Studer in Breau Bridge, LA. They later moved to Michigan where John worked for Van Vliet’s Dairy, and Deluur Dairy, Autumnwood of Deckerville and currently at New Grounds Coffee. He enjoyed making jewelry and gaming. John attended Awaken Fellowship in Deckerville. John is survived by his wife Lisa, two daughters, Amber (Mat) Hawkins, and Ashley Dreer both of WA.; two granddaughters Lydia Dreer and Melanie Dreer; one brother Paul Flood of AZ.; and his father John M. Flood Sr. of AZ. He was preceded in death by his mother Barbra E. (Lyman) Flood.

A memorial service will be held at 1:00 PM on Sunday March 8, 2026, at the Awaken Fellowship Hall, 3495 Main St, Deckerville, MI 48427.
