John Edwin Meyer

John E. Meyer, age 65, of Ubly, died Friday November 19, 2021, unexpectedly at his home. He was born August 28, 1956, in Detroit, the son of the late Harold N. Meyer and Mary E. Dole. He grew up in Kingston and graduated from Kingston High School in 1975. On October 25, 1980, he married Miss. Connie E. Peters in Freiburger, St. Ignatius Church. John is a former employee of Huron Castings and was currently the greeter at Meijer in Bad Axe. He enjoyed his family, work, and his pets He is survived by his wife Connie of Ubly; two daughters, Raina (Justin) Curtis of Ubly and Ashley (Scott Osentoski) Meyer of Owendale; five grandchildren, Markus Howard, Wyatt and Dominick Curtis and Jasmine and Natalie Osentoski; his dog Cooper and his cat Willow. He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Michael Garbula and Dennis Meyer. As per John's wishes there will be no service or visitation.
