Joseph Kincaid

JOSEPH EUGENE KINCAID, age 75 of Deckerville, passed away Wednesday, October 10, 2012 at St. Mary's Medical Center of Saginaw. He was born on August 22, 1937 on the family farm in Wheatland Township, to the late Joseph E. & Alma May (Sample) Kincaid. Joe and Grace Ann Thomas were united in marriage on August 1, 1985. Joe worked for General Motors as a machine operator for over 21 years. He enjoyed spending time with his family, cutting wood, driving his tractor, his kawasaki mule and playing cards. He is survived by his wife Grace Ann Kincaid, and his children: Terry (Brenda) Kincaid, Patty (Steve) Gwisdalla, Randy (Debby) Kincaid, Sharon (Craig) Fahs, and Luann (Dennis) Griffith, step children: Bill Fockler, Peggy & Steven Abram, Joe & Maxine Kubik, Charlotte Fockler & Allen Abbott, Grandchildren: Eric & Crystal Kincaid, Brian and Jena Kincaid, Jason Kincaid, Michael & Tara Gwisdalla, Justine Gwisdalla, Ryan Gwisdalla, Kayla Kincaid, Joshua Kincaid, Carrie Fahs, Matthew Fahs, Adam & Megan Griffith, Andrew Griffith, Aleah Fockler, Rachel Fockler, JJ & Sarah Gerber, Max & Colleen Gerber, Kay Ann Gerber, Joe & Breona Kubik Jr., Anthony & Carrie Kubik, Corey & Laura Kubik; and Michael Phillips, and great grandchildren: Erica, Carmen, Cole, Keagan Kubik, Michael Phillips Jr., Hunter Phillips, Jermey Gerber, Jayden Gerber, and Great Grandbaby #9 soon to be here; Sister Marie Peterson, brother Earl & Ingrid Kincaid, Dave & Minnie Bowling; and several nieces and nephews. Joe was preceded in death by a brother Aiden (Shirley) Kincaid and five half brothers and sisters. Funeral Services for Joe will be Saturday, October 13, 2012 at 10am at the Apsey Funeral Home of Deckerville, with Rev. Vicki Smith officiating. Burial will follow in the Downing Cemetery. Visitation for Joe will be Friday, from 1-9pm in the funeral home and on Saturday, beginning at 9 am until time of services at 10am. Memorials may be given to the family discretionary fund.
