Judith Sue Ozanic

Judith Sue Ozanic, 83, March 24, 1942 – Jan. 4, 2026. Judy is now in the hands of our Lord and Savior. Mom was loving, kind and gentle. Judy married Edward (Buddy) Ozanic in March of 1960. Judy and Buddy had four children, Ed (Theresa), Steve (Dawne) who passed away in 2024 and 2023, Mark (Dawn) and Julie (Bob) Durphey, grandchildren, Kevin (Sabrina), Aaron, Nolan and Rachael, great grandchildren, Kevin Jr. and Madison. Judy’s siblings, Mary, Jackie and Jim. Judy had many friends who she kept in touch with from growing up on Tepert St. in Detroit, living in Warren and raising her children in Richmond. Mom loved to watch all her children play baseball in Richmond. She especially enjoyed taking her mom to watch her grandchildren play baseball, hockey, football and watch Rachael ice skating. Mom and the family spent many days or weekends visiting Julie and her kids while camping in the Lexington area. Mom enjoyed traveling with her mom and sisters to Florida, Duluth, MN and Boyne Falls. As a child Judy spent many summers staying with grandparents in Wakefield, MI. Mom was a proud member of the New Baltimore Red Hats. Mom enjoyed dancing to the polka music with her husband and friends in Richmond. Mom never complained unless her children were asking too many questions. She treated us all the same, no one was her favorite.
