Karen S. Mcgregor

Karen S. McGregor, age 73, of McGregor, died Tuesday February 17, 2026, in the United Hospice facility in Marlette. She was born on September 2, 1952, the daughter of the late Robert and Dorothy (Gough) McGregor. Karen grew up in the little town of McGregor and attended Deckerville Community School graduating in 1970. She attended Northern Michigan University for a short time, then joined the US Navy. After being discharged from the Navy she returned home and worked at various jobs in the Deckerville area, including the Sanilac Mental Health Department and A.G. Manufacturing in Harbor Beach. She was a member of the McGregor Church. Karen is survived by one son William Weatherington of Mc Gregor; two brothers Bruce (Maria) McGregor of FL, and Raymond Grice of Deckerville; two sisters Diane (Nick) VanderVeen of MO, and Marcie McGregor of Deckerville; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her beloved dog Daisy.

Funeral services to honor the life of Karen S. McGregor will be held on Saturday February 28, 2026, at 1:00 PM in the McGregor Church. Pastors Jerry Griggs and Jeremy VanNorman will officiate.

Visitation will be from 11:00-1:00 on Saturday in the church.
