Karen A. Norman, age 76, of Jeddo, passed away Wednesday June 6, 2018 in Stonegate Assisted Living, Sandusky. She was born September 10, 1941 in Royal Oak, the daughter of the late Charles and Mildred (Miller) Bartley. On August 28, 1960 she married Charles (Buck) Norman. He preceded her in death on October 21, 2017. Karen's hobbies included Duck carvings, painting, gardening, feeding wildlife and from 1989 until 2016 she participated in the St. Clair River float down, the last year ending up in Canada and was rescued by the Coast Guard. She is survived by one daughter Sandra (Brad) Ball of Clyde Township; two sons, Kenn Norman of Kalamazoo and John (Stacy) Norman of Port Sanilac; nine grandchildren; one brother Fred Bartley of Worth Township and several nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held at 9:00 AM., Friday in the Downing Cemetery. Rev. Max Amstutz will officiate. Memorials may be given to Stonegate Activities Department.
