Kathleen Bunyan

Kathleen J. Bunyan, age 59, of Deckerville, passed away unexpectedly Friday November 6, 2009 in her home. She was born January 28, 1950 in Sandusky, the daughter of the late Glen and Marie (Parrott) Bunyan. Kathleen was a retired third grade school teacher at Deckerville Community Schools, retiring in 2006. She was a member of the 1st Presbyterian Church of Port Huron, where she was an organist, piano player, and active member. She enjoyed arts and crafts, crocheting, and sewing, and was a member of the retired teachers association. Kathleen also volunteered at Autumnwood of Deckerville. She is survived by four nieces and 8 great nieces. She was preceded in death by a brother Thomas Bunyan, her parents and step-mother Mrs. Lillian Bunyan. Funeral services to celebrate the life of Kathleen J. Bunyan will be 11:00 AM., Saturday November 14, 2009 in the 1st Presbyterian Church of Deckerville. Rev. Jason Pittman will officiate. Burial will be in the Downing Cemetery. Visitation will be 3-8 PM. Friday in the Apsey Funeral Home, your ?Legacy of Life? funeral home, and Saturday in the church at 10:00 AM.
