Lawrence Geck

Lawrence E. (Larry) Geck, age 68, of Palms, died Tuesday August 7, 2012 in the Marlette Hospice Residence. He was born June 5, 1944 in Owosso the son of Erven and Rebecca (Koren) Geeck. He married Rose Sanchez on August 1, 1975 in Palms. Larry graduated from Deckerville Community School in 1962. He was a Viet Nam veteran serving in the US Navy from 1962-1966. He is a VFW member. He worked at Loss TV & Appliance before it closed last year. Larry is survived by his wife Rose Geck of Palms, one son Brent L. Geck, daughter-in-law Kelly L. (Jacobson) Geck both of Sterling Heights, daughter Kelly L. Geck of New Baltimore, two granddaughters Jessica Geck, and Madison Geck, three grandsons Kyle L. Geck, Brendan Geck, and Ryan Geck, one sister Mrs. Valeta (Roy) Jones of Little Rock, AR., and his mother Mrs. Rebecca Geeck of Deckerville. He was preceded in death by his father.
