LeeRoy D. Dutcher, age 80, of Deckerville, died Thursday, September 19, 2013 in Regency on the Lake Medical Facility. He was born December 21, 1932, in AuSable Township, MI., the son of the late Roland and Laurel (Thibualt) Dutcher. He married Miss. Patricia L. Hafner on February 2, 1963 in Sandusky. She preceded in death on December 20, 2011. LeeRoy was a member of the McGregor United Methodist Church, and the American Legion Post 197, Harbor Beach. He enjoyed hunting and fishing, and loved to be with his family and grandchildren. Mr. Dutcher is survived by three sons, Leroy Dutcher of Snover, Lawrence Dutcher of Deckerville, and Douglas (Tifany) Dutcher of Ubly, one daughter, Patricia (Jeff) Bombyk of Carsonville, six grandchildren, two brothers, Gerald (Kathy) Dutcher of FL., and David (Chris) Dutcher of Grand Rapids, one sister Mrs. Laurel DeCoteau, and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Roland Dutcher Jr., and Ralph Dutcher. Funeral services to celebrate the life of LeeRoy Dutcher will be 11:00 AM., Monday in the Apsey Funeral Home. Pastor Jerry Griggs will officiate. Burial will be in Downing Cemetery. Visitation will be 3:00-8:00 PM., Sunday in the Apsey Funeral Home, and from 10:00 AM., until the time of service on Monday. Memorials may be given to the McGregor United Methodist Church or the American Legion Post 197.
